You think I pick one of the Mikeys I in truth love more or rather am far more familiar with but thats also why I wanna do 87 Mikey first personally speaking. I feel he's kind of the more different one out of all my Mikey's even back when I used to write for Rise before decided it was to hard to write for a series i just didn't like XD Anyway back to the original party dude uwu

✍ Favorite thing about writing the muse?

Compared to 03/12/SF and MM Mikey 87 Mikey to me at least feels like he's just a tad more mature he isn't really slotted into the 'baby' of the family roll that would become Mikey's placement later one. There is unofficially stated that Mikey may even be older, in terms of age order. Placing him as second oldest after Leo. But also still kind of given the usual role as seen as youngest based on how the others can treat him at times. Mikey still the goof ball of the family but this Mikey dose feel older like he kind of knows better when to goof off and when not. It just makes for a different vibe when i do write the 87 version of Mikey

👀Favorite thing about the muse’s appearance?

unlike later iterations 87 has nothing really to set the turtles apart when it comes to thier design outside weapons and colors. Which shows considering all the miss coloring mishaps in the original series XD

I do however like the more round look the turtles have often referring to them as being jelly bean shape seeing how they wanted to make this show more kid friendly that dose just seem aid in the design

Mikey is like the one turtle I feel I mainly enjoy tcest ships for because outside that? I have no one else I like to ship him with even Mikey's cannon partner i just don't care for if im honest XD

that being said I preferer Leo and Mikey the most in 87 (and others but we aint talking about that) Mikey being more mature is funny because he's often more the voice of reason at times and far more sympathy to others. Leo's not weighed down by resonplibilty in the 87 series but you do see these two easily on the same page a lot. And I just enjoy that.

The only other charater in 87 I ship Mikey with? Is Mondo it's hard not to esp cause they legit were dreaming of each other? Raphael even calls that romantic sure he was teasing but come on? Mikey and Mono get along so well in the 87 series they just bring out a side of Mikey you would expect to see more it's like Mondo reminds Mikey he can have more fun

Kala would be it XD I just don't really care for her if im honest shes very one off to me and I don't really see much else to come from here. Unlike Mona where I can see some potential for her coming back, Kala? not really XD and I hope she stays gone pfft sorry Mikey.

imma be honest? I got nothing, I love 87 Mikey he really is enjoyable to me. I know he don't get much love on my blog but I really do just find him to a comfort to see on screen.

😈Worst thing you’ve ever done to your muse?

I think i've been very nice to 87 mikey if im honest? The worst thing I could say would when he got drunk and kind of flirted with Von. It wasn't even him meaning to flirt more him just being so annoyed at how she well lets Don get away with. Mikey was the one Don vented to about his heart break over April that lead to his blow out with Raph and then his stupid plan when Von was coming to see him. Only for Don to pretty much ignore her? It's not even like Mikey feels for her in that way he just hates seeing her allow it and Don not do a thing to fix it XD but it did make Don feel threatened by Mikey and he hates that in truth ;3;

😂Funniest thing that’s ever happened to your muse?

Being Casey's wingman, there is just something about Mikey and Casey relationship I love between them.

But the fact he picked up on Casey's own crush on Raph when this dude is well always wearing a mask for one and seems to only ever be focused on jaywalkers and the like I think its funny how quick Mikey pegged him for being gay uwu

Which in turn sort of bites Mikey in the ass cause hes now like the marriage consular for Raph and Casey, cause he helps them he also has the same role for Don and Von XD and I think it's funny in truth.

💡 What inspires you to write the muse?

in comparison to 87 Raph i'll admit that I do need to watch the show in order to really be able to pick up Mikey XD Or read the run of the comics going on those have helped a bit as well when I think about it. Mainly cause he is just a bit different for one so i need to have a good grip on his character before I go on in with any replies sent his way.

I haven't gone too deep on this Mikey in truth so really I guess that I like Mikey is far more sympathic towards humans Like Leo is. Mikey not only wants to do whats right by others but clearly wants to understand them. Maybe it's because he has spent his whole life consuming human media that it makes him have some idea about them or maybe Mikey just feels that showing empathy will someone get humans to do the same.

He's not all wrong they have some human friends after all who would even try and save them if they need it like how they help humans out all the time. Proving Raph wrong when he was being prickly over that same matter.

Mikey just truly is the heart of the turtles I feel and he shows it in many ways.

📝 Favorite headcanon for your muse?

Mikey being empathic to others, it just makes for him to be a good support in many situations I would say

Mikey is the cook in the family, hes often making Pizza so him being the one to be the cook makes sense and I feel it just gose well with him being empathic and such

Mikey knows the best thing to make his brothers when they are upset. Later he learns this for others Like Casey and Von and Summer and eventually Ariel as well ;3;

Mikey is genderfuild in this verse as well but it's not something he is aware of do to it not being made known at this time. Mikey dosen't think much on it he tends to think his gender stuff is turtle related so he hasn't ever really put a second to thinking about it. But shows in a few ways since he dosen't care if hes not refered to in male pronouns and such.

😒 Is there anything canon about your muse that you ignore?

at best his girlfriend haha XD theres like nothing else I can think of that comes close to being openly ignored is all.

🔮 What do you see in your muse’s future?

i'll be honest im not really sure? I think Mikey will keep trying to help people how ever he is able to. I think he generally loves doing it if thats as being a hero or just being a good friend it makes Mikey happy to feel he is able to be there for others I feel.

I think he'll love becoming an uncle to Summer and Ariel and will often offer to watch them at any chance given just cause he likes spending the time around the two babies ;3;

Maybe seeing how 87 humans are later aware of the turtles and having them run around with out covering up they are turtles is a thing Mikey can have his own pizza shop one day uwu I think he'd enjoy that making pizza for others uwu

XD I dunno tbh? maybe that the surfer dude vide dosen't fit him I think it dose considering his good vibes and such if you ever met a big time surfer person you would see how that fits with Mikey just fine. not quite like a hippe vibe though I see why people compare those but Mikeys just very chill and goes with the flow.

💭 Favorite memory of the muse?

Briefly mentioned but in general? I just love Mikey's friendship with Casey, where in like 03 Mikey is far more a like younger sibling to Casey in 87 it feels a bit different likely due to 87 Mikey coming off as older for one but Casey seems to see Mikey in a different matter in the 87 verse. Casey looks to Mikey for advice and help when it came to exploring his crush on Raph. Even letting Mikey dress him up again for his and Raph's first date.

Of course I can't ever forget how Mikey had Casey's side when it came to Casey being upset with Raph about the whole food matter. Mikey understood Casey being so upset with Raph and even explained to his brother how he was in the wrong about the whole matter and why Casey was hurt in the first place at that. So when Casey was feeling petty and brought brownies for Mikey to try? yeah he indulged XD

They have this very cute dynamic between them and I think it's nice that Casey has a friend among the turtles outside of Raphael uwu

😩 Hardest thing about writing the muse?

In truth the more tame nature this Mikey carries would be what I can struggle with at times. As stated before 87 Mikey is very different from the other mikeys on my page. Where he got some main points that match he dosen't have that bratty younger brother character trait to him so it dose tend to be trouble on what his reaction would be cause well he still very mikey he aint got that part of him. Which is a trait im used to so not having it can make it hard when writing him XD

⌨ What’s a situation you’ve always wanted to RP with the muse?

I know its been settled on Von's end BUUUT I would like to RP out the fall out of Mikey's drunk flirting with Donnie. Donnie got jealous of course and even upset with Mikey but we never explored that and I think we should uwu Sure Mikey fights with his brothers but he never real deals with any fall out with them. Like Raph and Don have but thats different cause well it's Raph and Don. This is Mikey so its not something that happens as often or can be easily mended I feel.

I think Mikey needs to be there for Casey with this Summer stuff going on, of course Raph is here but I think Casey needs someone outside of Raph, maybe in that between time from Summer first showing up to Casey coming into the lair. And since Casey tends to listen to Mikey or consider what he has to say? i think it be good for him ;3;

What’s the worst role playing experience you’ve had?

On the Pokémon RPC there was actually a very recent one with a mun (whose name I won't be mentioning out of respect for my mutuals) that wanted to ship with one of my muses and really really REALLY wanted me to turn this muse into an abuser because they had a fetish for dysfunctional relationships, which is already a mess and a half but it gets way worse

Like first of all being abusive not only goes completely against this character's personality but also the whole idea relied heavily on ableist stereotypes like oh this character has a mental illness so clearly they have to be unstable and violent like bruh what the fuck

But also this mun literally wanted to gaslight me into changing the way I write my own muse and it was fucking ridiculous like every once in a while they'd compare this muse to a character in a videogame that had nothing to do with them and happened to be a villain and then talk about the Evil Things this villain does and go "your muse would totally also do this right since they're so similar" and i was like dude are you high and every time i said Fuck No they'd just continue a while later thinking they were the smartest person in the world and i wasn't able to tell what they were doing

As a general advice for the fandom based off of this is that if you want to write a fetish it's fine you do you but PLEASE communicate with your writing partner instead of trying to trick them into doing it because it's creepy as hell and I guarantee you'll just make a fool of yourself

Your view on Mary/Gary sues?

First of all it needs to be said, the term Mary Sue lost its original meaning a long time ago and is now just a buzzword to call out a character (usually a woman because of sexism) the viewer personally doesn't like, without having to explain why, so that they can invite more and more people into hating this character as well, so it's a term I don't like to use because it ends any possibility of discussion, but I also feel like the criticism against the term Mary Sue is used as an excuse for writers to shamelessly godmode and/or make their characters the unquestionable center of morality without being called out for it because ⭐Mary Sue is a bad word⭐

In general the term itself has a really weird ambiguous meaning and you can stretch it to fit anything you want, like the basic idea is that it means a character that's invincible and always right and becomes boring as a result but villains can also be considered Mary Sues despite not being validated by the narrative (well some are but that's besides the point) so it seems like a more fitting definition would be a character that makes the story boring because they never struggle but a Sad UwU Baby character whose purpose is to bring pathos to the story and force the audience to sympathize with them they can ALSO be called a Mary Sue and you could say that the suffering they go through is heavily glamourized and only comes from characters we're supposed to root against and never from the more sympathetic ones but at that point the only common factor is that these characters can be subjectively considered boring so maybe it's just not a very good term if you can't specify with certainty what it means

Which isn't to say that characters without flaws don't exist, I talked a few days ago about how heroic characters tend to be given only one flaw which is giving too much of themselves for others (because it can be interpreted in a way that effectively makes them morally righteous in every situation) and one thing I did forget to mention that time as well is that the Joker personality for villains is a safe zone because it means they don't have to show any weakness or less glamorous personality traits but calling them Mary Sues/Gary Stus is effectively a way to dismiss them and dismiss the writer as well, calling them some generic bad term and never giving them a chance to actually show different facets of their writing

(The term Mary Sue is also heavily used to criticize female self-inserts that ship with male canon characters and frankly that's very dumb because people should be allowed to write just for fun, go get that romance queens)

You might be surprise that I pick this Raph first over the rest but I feel I might have less to say on their Raph considering its primary just for the one game even though I do pull from the power rangers cross over comic as well just to round out Raph a bit uwu I just feel elements of that could be fun to play with in this universe. uwu

Also I havent gotten over the fact Raphs VA in the game is Roger Craigie smith/ Sonic and Captian America XD He was at the con I went to last year so course I had him sign a printed out image of Raph from the game ;3;

✍ Favorite thing about writing the muse?

He's a major idiot uwu

XD so many of Raph's line in this game just make me laugh. Raph is often a tough broody muscle head but they don't always make him dumb which I'm glad for but hes still not dumb in this game he just has a very bad habit of saying things wrong or mixing up words and phases. Of course the Anarchy line with Donatello will always be my favorite. I love that Raph is so confidently wrong

I like how round they made the characters for the game XD i dunno like I feel it makes sense for the turtles to be built like little brick houses. cause they are mutants that are naturally strong so it should be reflected. I also love that they gave the same detail to make Raph's mask tails to be torn up. Something I have felt should always be part of raph's desing since first seeing 12 do it. It's this small detail that helps define who Raph is as a character and seems fitting to his style of play as well so course for someone who is a close combatant he's going to be someone who gets hit often so his make would get torn cause of this.

Over all the turtles look the same of course which for a game like this I don't really mind so little details like this are nice.

XD like beside the fact Raph don't really interact with anyone else in this game. I just die over the fact the second Casey is mentioned Raph always has to speak up. Like around the rest Raph like 'oh Jones is fine besides he owes me five bucks' as a way to be like dude get die he owes me money. Casey why you so broke you browed money from a mutant turtle btw XD but when Raphs more on his own? it's clear he is worried about Casey ;3;

If i had to pick something it might be his bluntness, Raph has no fliter in this game and I feel this adds to why he says common phases and such wrong. But this also means even if he means well like most talks with leo he tends to say things in a very aggressive manner. He dosen't out right tell leo he's annoyed he isn't thinking of them as a team he just gets mad at Leo actting on his own it's not till a bit later in the game that he better expresses that fact.

installing self doubt into him uwu. By now the Ask between him and leo should been posted. Raphael often dosen't get to express and show his role as being an older brother himself. I really do wish this would get addressed some day in some iteration but I feel Raphael is very much Leo's right hand. Leo has a bad habit of shouldering all the reasonability on himself. Raphael wants Leo to see he can share that weight. Which often fuels Raph's own self doubts a lot. Raphael doubts himself as the one to protect his brothers that his role who cares if he is hurt he wants to make sure they aren't. Raphael also holds more doubts thats he just can't express because hes too worried about everyone else around him and how voice those will effect them if he allowed himself to say it.

I wanna say when Raph came home the nigth Don and Von first met and Raphael ran into Von the morning after their hook up XD I dunno I just think it's funny he was the one to basically catch Donnie seeing how he been so focused on learning about the portals and what not and Raphs been trying to get Don to let up. In a way he did help Don cause hes the one who encouraged Don to meet Von in person of course so he could fight her but point still stands XD

💡 What inspires you to write the muse?

pretty much anything that isn't related to any of the tv series of TMNT so if I read a comic or play this game which i do often because of how my brain works it's nice to have something as a reward system. SF is a good game I can play well typing cause I can take a break after beating a room and return to work. If I need to shift focus I can go back and beat another room. And since I play as Raph XD well it's easy to start getting ideas. as mentioned when i read like a comic as well since I tend to group those Raphs together cause well they aint all that deep XD so its easy todo so.

📑 Favorite part of your muse’s backstory?

How he and Casey met. It's pretty much common that through out tmnt Raph and Casey meet and fight and eventually turn friends. But, I love the approch we went with these two. They may be as different as day and night but in the moment they met up? They were both two kids angry and hurting and needing a place away from what was going on to hide at. Raphael being the petty ass he is sticks around Casey and Casey being the petty ass he is did the same. They sort of speak to each other and they have someone on thier side for the first time. Casey been singled out by his Dad as a punching bag and Raph tells Casey thats fucked up well Raph expresses his annoyance towards Leo and Casey is the first to not right away assume Raph is speaking out of jealously.

I love when these two fight course I do but letting them have a moment like this? I love it more ;3;

📝 Favorite headcanon for your muse?

the five dollar bill Casey owes him they have been trading back and forth to each other for years, they even have written notes on it a few times for the other to read.

Raph's creative outlet for his anger is origami, because Origami can help enhance patience and persistence which are two traits Raph lacks.

Raphael and Donnie used to have sleep overs with each other when they were younger which is part of why they are so close.

Raph is best at folding cranes because he worked on folding a 1,000 cranes believing in the idea that once he dose his wish would be granted. What was that wish? it was for Casey uwu he wished Casey's dad wouldn't be able to hurt him anymore ;3;

he's working on a new set now for getting splinter back ;3; These ones he been hanging up in his room.

XD I don't think there really much I can ignore considering it's an arcade game.

Married to Casey living on the boat Casey got Raph to take a little sail on. They can fix it up more together make it a true boat house together. They can't get married but Raph folds a bunch of cranes again and makes the 1000 on the 5 dollar bill he and casey been passing back and forth to ask casey if they can stay like this forever ;3; Of course, Splinter is back home maybe Don finally figured out the portals with Von so they portal man is gone letting them return to a more normal they all knew before.

XD I dunno iffI have any? I don't see people talk about this game so I don't know whats out there in the first place for me to even be like yeah this might not be a popular thought among others?

💭 Favorite memory of the muse?

mmm course when Casey asks Raph to be his boyfriend is up there its done in such a sweet way that shows that Caseys been thinking about it for awhile and never really felt hesitation to ask for any reason Raph might have hang ups on. It was very natural in a way Raph could take it and feel they were on the same wave length ;3;

When Raph asks Von to do a reading for Splinter, just asking if they know he's okay. Raphs a very tough guy stereotype so believing in stuff like that is dumb to him. But there's no way for him to know how his dad is right now. Is he okay? is he scared? is he hurt? Hungry? Cold? Raphael cares very deeply but it don't show cause tough guy once again ;3; But instead of Von using the chance to get back at him she was kind and empathic to him and I feel it helped them get closer ;3;

😩 Hardest thing about writing the muse?

mmm I guess the long term stuff cause of how self contained the story is? I mean even when you beat the game the portals do still exist I still hoping for additional content for this game one day XD

Okay so for like a small second when Casey came into the game I THOUGHT IT WAS SET UP FOR A FIGHT XD Like we know like Leatherhead at least was being controlled to fight the rest of the boss fights were more their choice Karai, beepbop and rocksteady then Shredder himself. As mentioned I do draw some inspiration from comics im just saying in the MMPR comic Casey sneaks in among the bad guys with the intention of being a double agent till he could figure out how to stop them. Im just saying Casey knows how much Raph is doubting himself how much the others are going crazy about finding and getting Splinter back uwu sure would hurt if Raph thought Casey was suddenly against them but sisinting Casey just brain washed ;3;

Only to learn Casey isn't brain washed Or maybe he so brain washed he dont even know till breaking out of it because hes gonna be froced to hurt Raph ;3;
